David has over 12 years Osteopathic experience and enjoys working with a wide variety of clientele. He has spent the last 10 years working at Central London Osteopathy & Sports Injury Clinic where he treated elite athletes, West End actors and dancers, professional musicians and trapeze artists. He has also been the official Osteopath for the British Modern Pentathlon Olympic team since 2001 and will be involved with their preparations for London 2012.
David also specialises in work related injuries often caused by working posture, such as sitting at computers or repetitive strain injury (RSI) related to data entry or mouse use. With his background in Ergonomics he is able to advise on correct workstation setup and goes into workplaces to undertake workstation assessments.
David graduated from a 5 year course at the British School of Osteopathy with an Honours degree in 1999. After several years in London, David returned to his native Yorkshire in 2010 after starting his family and now works in Harrogate and Leeds. David was a keen Rugby player captaining Harrogate Grammar School, playing for Harrogate Rugby Club and representing Yorkshire at schools and colts level. He now stays active with triathlons and mountain biking. He also plays the French Horn and his musical experience is useful when treating professional and amateur musicans. He has treated pop musicans and members of Opera North and the London Philhamonic Orchestra.
